TWR Replicas are pleased to associate themselves with Bailey Edwards Cars, based in South Africa.  Acting as a representative and Build agent for European customers we are able to offer several variants of the  917 replica - Rolling build minus Engine/Gearbox and fully Built-to-Order,ready to drive solutions.

The build quality is of the highest standard with excellent detailing, which puts this replica in a league of its own with a very attractive price tag to match.

Rolling Builds are fully built less Engine/Gearbox and can be supplied painted.

Chassis:          Laser cut round tube Space frame Tig welded.  

Suspension:  

Front:            Unequal length double wishbone, with 2 way adjustable damper and height adjustable coil over spring.
Rear:               The rear is also an independent double trailing arm with transverse top link and lower wishbone.  

Brakes:         325mm by 32mm thick ventilated floating discs all round. Radial mounted 4 pot AP Racing calipers.  

Rims:            Centre nut quick tighten 3 piece 16" diameter suitable for 15" wide rear and 10.5" wide front tyres .  

Body:            Composite glass fibre.  

Fuel system:  80ltr bladder fuel tank in aluminium casing with anti-surge foam.  

Instruments:  VDO white dial on black faces.  

Engine:          The Chassis is constructed to install any air cooled Porsche 6 cylinder motor in normally aspirated or turbo form,

                    as per the purchaser specification.  

Gearbox:        The gearbox of choice is the Porsche G50, G60 or Hewland type.
